30 years of experience

Look closely.
Make it personal.

Kimtasha grew up in Hawaii, where her early makeup experience included Japanese and Korean clients. That beginning shaped a career working with many different complexions, features, and makeup preferences.

She looks at your undertones, the balance of your features, and the finish that feels comfortable to you. Makeup can even the appearance of the skin and bring out your features while keeping you recognizable.

Her experience includes brides, mothers, grandmothers, clients preparing for portraits, and people learning an everyday routine. The application changes with the person and the occasion.

An individual approach

Color. Texture. Comfort.

The same inspiration photo can lead to different choices on different faces.

Matching undertones and depth

A foundation shade needs to work with the depth and undertones of your complexion. Kimtasha’s approach includes balancing areas of uneven color while avoiding a finish that looks overly orange, gray, or disconnected from the rest of the skin.

Tell her about previous makeup experiences and anything that felt wrong. That information helps explain what you want from this appointment.

Makeup for mature skin

Product choice, amount, and application technique matter when working with changing skin texture. Kimtasha adapts the finish and placement to the individual rather than automatically adding coverage.

For mothers and grandmothers at a wedding, a personal conversation about comfort and definition is part of planning the look. Mature clients are also welcome for portraits, events, and private lessons.

Experience with Asian clients

Her early work in Hawaii included Japanese and Korean faces, and she brings that experience to a personal assessment of eye shape, features, and preferred style.

You may want barely-there definition or a more expressive look. Your own preferences, rather than assumptions about your background, guide the appointment.

Makeup that feels like you

Kimtasha’s priority is for you to feel good in person as well as in photographs. She listens to the amount of makeup you normally wear and how you want to feel at your occasion.

For a routine you can recreate, a private makeup lesson offers guided practice on your own face. For a wedding, a separate bridal trial gives you time to explore the look.

Before you book

A few things to know.

Can I request very light coverage?

Yes. Explain the finish and coverage you prefer. Kimtasha will discuss how to balance that preference with the occasion and any photography.

Can you use products I already like?

Ask in advance and share the specific products. Using your own makeup does not change the application price.

Do you have clean makeup options?

Kimtasha carries RMS Beauty and other products marketed as clean makeup. Discuss your exact preferences or ingredients you want to avoid before booking.
